This policy applies to all servers used by KIVO BPO for the delivery of services.
3. Policy
Server software must be updated as follows:
a. Review
We will review software updates and patches for applicability to our systems and data.
b. Testing
We will test software updates and patches in a non-production environment to ensure that they do not cause any adverse effects.
c. Deployment
Approved software updates and patches will be deployed to our production environment.
d. Verification
We will perform verification testing to ensure that the software updates and patches have been applied correctly and that any security vulnerabilities or bugs have been addressed.
e. Timing
We will prioritize software updates and patches based on their severity and the risk they pose to our systems and data.
f. Notification
We will notify users and stakeholders of any planned software updates or patches that may result in service interruptions.
4. Enforcement
Any employee found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
5. Review
This policy will be reviewed and updated as necessary to ensure that it remains effective and aligned with KIVO BPO’s data protection objectives and controls.
